Please see the information below on the opportunity of content recovery being offered at Morgantown High School.  This content is only being offered for the first nine weeks due to the shift to the distance learning model and the uncertainty of classed being held due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Below is a list of Frequently Asked Questions regarding Content Recovery. We hope this information helps to prepare you for passing your courses at Morgantown High School.  

Q: What is the purpose of Content Recovery? 

• Content Recovery provides students the opportunity to relearn content they may have missed during the first quarter while improving their grade in the class.  After successfully completing the Content Recovery requirements through Odysseyware, students will not only have a better understanding of the material taught during the first quarter but will have the opportunity to pass the semester and receive credit for the class.   Content Recovery is not a replacement for the second quarter.  Students need to continue working in their scheduled classes while completing Content Recovery. 

Q: What is the deadline for completion? 

• January 15, 2021 

Q: What if I don’t complete the assignment by January 15?  

• You will not receive a passing grade for the semester.  The failing grade will be posted on your transcript.   

Q: What is the cost associated with Content Recovery? 

• Content Recovery is free of cost 

Q: How do I log in to complete my Content Recovery assignments?

Q: What are my login credentials for Content Recovery? 

• Username: WVEIS Lunch Number 

• Password: morgantown (all lowercase) 

Q: How do I find the course assignments once I am logged in? 

• Once you log in, you will see a dashboard with all your Content Recovery courses.  Click the + to the left of the course to find the Unit Titles.  Click the + next to the Unit Title to find your assignments.   Click on an assignment to begin. 

Q: Do I need to contact someone to open more assignments once I complete the ones listed for me? 

• All the units and assignments required for Content Recovery are already uploaded within the course.  Once you complete the assignments, you are finished. 

Q: When will the teacher be available for assistance? 

• Mr. Tom Belden is available via email at tbelden@k12.wv.us on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3 until 4:30 pm.  

Q: What if I am struggling with the math on Content Recovery? 

• Virtual math tutoring is offered on Monday, Tuesday, and Thursdays from 3:30 until 4:30. Reach out to your math teacher for a code to join if interested.  

Q: Do I need to be on MHS campus to complete the Content Recovery assignments and assessments? 

• Content Recovery can be completed remotely through Odysseyware.  You do not need to be on campus.
