Dear Class of 2024,

Morgantown High School plans to offer the PSAT 8/9 on April 13, 2021. Morgantown High School strongly encourages students to take the PSAT as early as freshman year as part of their preparation for the state-wide assessment during junior year. The assessment will also measure college and career readiness. Having an indication of college and career readiness earlier in the student’s high school career gives students an awareness of their strengths and weaknesses. It also allows the students to target areas needing improvement and to strengthen overall test results. Further information about the PSAT 8/9 can be found on the CollegeBoard website (collegeboard.org).

Again, please mark this date in your calendar and be on the lookout for more details on the MHS website about the test day and procedures soon!
