Updates on Commencement
Our goals are to celebrate our graduates’ accomplishments…AND to keep them, their guests and our staff as safe as possible.
We require all graduates, guests and staff to wear masks and to practice social distancing as it’s defined by the Centers for Disease Control. We will provide masks for those who need them and will make hand sanitizer available, too.
We encourage guests to bring water with them, since our concession stands will not be open.
Following the ceremony, guests will remain seated until they are dismissed from their seats by section. They will then proceed directly to their vehicles without congregating in the stadium or in the parking lot. We will have designated signage around the school campus for photo opportunities. We ask that if you use these signs, you drive to the area in your car and continue to follow social distancing guidelines.
We ask all guests to cooperate with staff members who will be on-hand to assist you.
Remember – if you can’t attend the ceremony in-person, you can watch it live-streamed from the UHS home page at hawks.mono.k12.wv.us
Let’s work together to give the UHS Class of 2020 the send-off they deserve.
Flying Arrow Productions will be once again be filming the Commencement Ceremony. Fully edited videos will be delivered on a USB drive in full HD resolution. Please go to flyingarrowproductions.com and click on the UHS logo on the right side of the page to order your copy.
Final Transcripts for the Class of 2020
Seniors, you will need a final transcript for all College/Universities including 2-year and 4-year programs. Once you make a decision about where you plan to attend, you can schedule a request through Parchment. You must go to the Parchment website (click on the link above) and order your transcript. As you are checking, you will be asked when you want the transcript to be sent. If you do not request your final transcript on Parchment, it WILL NOT be sent to the college and this may affect your college registration process. Requests for final transcripts through July 31, 2020 will be at NO COST. Beginning August 1, 2020 you will be classified as 'Alumni' status and must submit payment for copies of your transcripts.
