WVEIS Help (For Staff)

Your Login: 

Do NOT forget that your username for WVEIS is the letter "T" and your entire employee number (e.g., T98001234).  Many people forget to put the "T".

Set up your email: 

Step 1: Login into WVEIS

Step 2: Click on the "Menu" option

Step 3: Click on "WOW.EML  WVEIS on the Web Email Update"


Step 4: Make sure your K12 email address is the "current email."  If NOT, please add/change your "new email address" and type it again in the "confirm" box.  Click Submit



Locked out of WVEIS (from too many failed attempts):

Step 1: On the Login Screen click "forgot password"

Step 2: Fill out the form precisely as shown below and then click "Request Reset"

Step 3: Login to your email account on ANOTHER tab.  Look for an email from "noReply@k12.wv.us" and click the "reset" link in the email.

Step 4: You will be redirected to a new tab (like the one below).  You can exit out of that tab and return to your email.

Step 5: You should find ANOTHER email from "noReply@k12.wv.us". When you open this email, midway down, there will be a section that says "Your New Password".  Please highlight and COPY this password.

Step 6: Return to the WVEIS login.  Type in your WVEIS User ID.  PASTE the password from the email for the "password".  Click "SUBMIT."  It will refresh and now ask for you to click "Change Password".  Click "Change Password".

Step 7: You will be asked to type your NEW password twice.  Remember that the password can NOT be longer than 10 characters.  Can NOT be a previous password.  Can NOT have symbols in it.
